Tiger Mask & Kengo Kimura vs Dynamite Kid & Bret Hart (07/16/82 NJPW): This was very exciting. It had great moves but they also kept it simple. Dynamite and Bret were great rough neck heels while still showing they were technically adept. I think this should be included in the list of Tiger vs Dynamite matches to see plus its another excellent Bret in Japan match. So a must see for any Hitman Hart fans. This is a great all action tag match. Easy recommendation!

I'm trying to work through my DVDs still! Most/all of these are from AJW Athena TV episodes. I think someone compiled the best of a bunch of episodes. These are a sort of consultation prize on my AJW 09/21/97 DVD that cuts off the end of the famous cage match. Zap I is Kaoru Ito and Zap T is Tomoko Watanabe for reference. 02/16/99 ZAP I & T vs. Kumiko Maekawa & Kayo Noumi - This is how you do a studio TV match! Fast, violent and entertaining! The ZAPs are on the warpath. Maekawa can put up a fight but Kayo is a lamb for the slaughter. Kumiko tries her best but Ito & Tomoko are their normal high impact selves plus with weapons too! This was great! LCO are in the stands & mix it up with them afterwards. Yay! Joshi is something I'd loved but eventually moved away from... thinking I'd seen all that I had wanted to see. It took me long time to come back to it but the blog has definitely reconnected me. I know some folks are not as interested in it as much the men's stuff but, I think you're missing out. More FMW You Might Have Missed - 1998

Hayabusa & Jinsei Shinzaki vs Yukihiro Kanemura & Hido (01/06/98): Oh yeah, this was just a blast! You kinda get everything you want here in one 14 minute match. It's like a Dean Malenko Nitro match from like '96 😋 It is just 4 pros having a very good wrestling match. It tells a little story (or continues one), has some drama with the heels hitting nut shots, using chairs and making blind tags, you've got your baby faces shining with their cool moves! Hayabusa vs. The Gladiator (Mike Awesome) (03/17/98): I wouldn't have laid it out this way but this was a very good battle between the two most flashy wrestlers. It did not disappoint one bit. There were some really great moments here and nice surprises. Really high impact stuff throughout. I thought the selling was pretty good as well. TAJIRI - You Might Have Missed

Yoshihiro Tajiri has been one of my favorite wrestlers since he came into ECW. He probably is one of the wrestlers that got me hooked. His simple blue trunks and hybrid style really caught my attention. Years ago I looked into some of his early matches in IWA Japan as well as later stuff in his SMASH promotion. I'll include a couple "archive" reviews here if you missed them. This will be an ongoing project but will most likely be sporadically updated. I don't want to watch a giant chunk of his matches and get burnt out. Silver King & El Texano vs Takashi Okano & Yoshihiro Tajiri (IWA Japan 03/07/95) : Whoa! Let me catch my breath here. Double plus quick lucharesu opening. Tajiri's throwing kicks even in his green pad & trunk days, nice! Texano eats a couple then, says " Hey Silver! You get in there man!" Hi wrestling fans! We've got more Tajiri You Might Have Missed! Check out this cool pic! Okay let's get to the matches! Tajiri vs Minoru Tanaka (BJW 02/03/98) : This is from Big Japan Wrestling. These two are at it again! See this post for their previous fight. Here we get the full match & its 8 minutes of excellence. This is a tournament match so both wrestlers are looking to end this quickly and advance to the finals. Minoru has the advantage as he uses his grappling skills to put Tajiri in a few submission predicaments. Yoshihiro fights with his feet but is looking to send Minoru back to BattlARTS with suplexes. There's a lot of cool stuff here and fans of either guy will have a blast with this bout. Very good! ~spoiler alert~ Tajiri vs Gedo (BJW 02/03/98) : Yes! This was smart!
