Wrestling Dream Battles

I'm pretty shocked by the news of his passing. Thank you for being an awesome pro wrestler PAC. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of his matches. If you're interested, below are many of my favorite matches of The Man Gravity Forgot. PAC vs. Claudio Castagnoli (PWG BOLA '07 - Block B Quarterfinal):  Spectacular at times, Claudio was a fantastic base for PAC's moves. Likewise, PAC moved and bumped brilliantly for Double C. Very good match! El Generico vs. PAC (PWG ASW V Nt. 1 2007):  Classic PWG title match. Heck I don't need to qualify it with "PWG title match." It's a straight up classic match. It is very much a go for broke, empty the gas tank with the pedal to the metal match. PAC is excellent as always and he hits everything perfectly despite doing some of the most insane stuff. No knock on Jack Evans but he's been replaced with a better model. Honestly I think Ricochet is/was redundant if on the same show as PAC. Anyhow, PAC is ...

Hey you guys! More Madness! This time we're looking at Michinoku Pro Wrestling in 1999. " Evil" Great Sasuke & Masaaki Mochizuki vs Gran Hamada & Tiger Mask IV (01/10/99 Michinoku Pro) : This was very good, heated stuff! Excellent action when both pairs interacted. I've seen this given 2 stars (**!?) but this is much better than that. 11 minutes. Great Sasuke vs Jinsei Shinzaki (04/27/99): Yes! This was a great match. I loved all of the twists and surprises. Sasuke had a counter or reversal for Shinzaki at nearly every turn. It's probably not as got as their 1994 match but it's absolutely worth your time. Strongly RECOMMENDED Masaaki Mochizuki, Gran Naniwa & Pablo Marquez vs Great Sasuke, Magnum Tokyo & Kendo (04/29) : 10 of 26 minutes. What we get is pretty damn great. Great tag moves, dives & the other good stuff you want from these guys. Very good stuff!  Going to be watching more Michinoku '99. This is really good stuff and hasn...

Hi folks! More mayhem and a little bit more of March! We're looking at the Dragon Gate Challenge show from ROH Wrestling from 03/30/06. Ryo Saito vs Jimmy Yang - Very good Jr. wrestling at the ROH speed. It was very enjoyable and an easy watch for any modern wrestling fan. Cool ass finishing move too! AJ Styles & Matt Sydal vs Dragon Kid & Genki Horiguch i - Holy snap! I've seen this a few times and it's still some badass stuff! AJ just muscles the Dragon Gate guys. It looks so uncooperative and great. This feels like a match instead of a routine. Additionally this fight told a story and actually felt like ROH vs Dragon Gate since both teams were baby faces & popular. This one remains a classic  to me. CIMA, Naruki Doi & Masato Yoshino vs Austin Aries, Roderick Strong & Jack Evans - This was crazy 80 mph wrestling. The finishing segment was straight bananas. But it's not a complete sprint as Blood Generation slowed it down to let everyone catch the...

Blood Generation (CIMA, Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino) vs Do Fixer (Ryo Saito, Dragon Kid, Genki Horiguchi) (ROH SuperCard of Honor) : Holy shit balls! This was bananas. After I thought they had wrapped things up, the crazy bastards kept going! Plus it wasn't overkill... I absolutely thought this would be an overkill match but no! They successfully ramped up the action in a believable & fresh way. Too much happened to keep a tally & I can't say anyone sold anything in a story telling way. But this was a classic, all-time classic (perhaps?) cardio-work rate spectacular. ROH & AEW has this on YouTube. Go watch it! 👇👇👇 Check out the labels below for more stuff you might like!
