Abdullah The Butcher vs The Sheik (Cage Match - TWA 1991): Hot damn! This is what Psycho September is all about! Sheik is cutting up the ref before Abby gets in the ring. We get bloody carving in the ring. Sabu throws a metal trash can over top of the cage. Sheik caves the bin in over Abdullah's bald head. Eventually there's a winner but things don't end. In fact, things get crazier! Sabu is in the mix, Kevin Sullivan comes out, Terry Funk is fighting. Sheik gets a sign off a wall or something. Abby is choking a camera man. Some other dude gets it! Highly Recommended mayhem!

Abdullah The Butcher vs Kevin Sullivan (10/02/93 - ECW Bloodfest - Steel Cage Match) : Nice violent stuff! My favorite bit was when Woman comes out to stop Abby from choking Sullivan. Then the Madman from Sudan goes after the vivacious valet; her eyes rolling back in her head and Kevin Sullivan whacks the Butcher with a chair!! Damn you can hear it smack his broad back like a Ric Flair chop! Inside the ring is the good but standard "use the cage as a weapon" fighting. Taz comes out and throws a metal briefcase in there to help Sullivan. Then it gets really good again 😁 Fun, fun stuff.

May Madness! Zero One - 05/29/08 - NJ vs Z1

  Zero One Wrestling • Yujiro & Tetsuya Naito v Osamu Namiguchi & Shito Ueda: Pretty fun little match. Simple but effective tag wrestling. Seriously, U.S. wrestling should just aim for this instead of over complicating everything. •Takao Omori v Kohei Sato: I'm not sure how this was edited time wise. Maybe half was shown of 10 minutes. What we got was enjoyable stuff.  •Daisuke Sekimoto v Kamikaze: 7 of 11 minutes. Holy cow! This was a hard hitting yet surprising little sprint. Kamikaze is an excellent mid card bruiser who pairs well with Sekimoto. This was a blast if you like lariats and suplexes! •Ikuto Hidaka & Munenori Sawa v Masaaki Mochizuki & Minoru Tanaka: Junior shoot-style brawl? That's a good way to describe this bout. They were haphazardly kicking each other all match. There's a lot of animosity here. This was really exciting and although a bit frenetic, it sold the hate. Mighty Inoue & Great Kusatsu vs Gypsy Joe & Mad Dog Vachon (IWE - 02/27/1977) : 10 minutes of madness! Fighting in the crowd, weapons, blood , Mad Dog & Inoue slapping the shit out of each other...this was a blast! Rules were thrown out the window. Surprisingly we get a winner! We only get one camera angle like Fire Pro Wrestling but the footage has been restored and is great. The match is clipped at points but it feels just right in intensity and length. AJPW - 1986 - March & April - Jumbo, Tenryu, DiBiase & more

Thanks for joining me here! Let's take another look at the wonderful footage from 1986 in AJPW! March Terry Gordy vs Jumbo Tsuruta (03/10)  - This was very good stuff! Surprisingly not a smash mouth barn burning brawl but a scientific match between two heavyweights. So it's a slower pace but there's quality wrestling to be had. I mean Gordy eventually upper cuts Jumbo in the balls but it's scientific until then 😄 Plus we get a clean finish and a pretty cool one too! Jumbo Tsuruta vs Animal Hamaguchi (03/13) - This was a sick match! 😋 Animal jumps Jumbo at the bell...he's crazy! There's a lil down time where Animal works the arm but after that this cooks. Animal is out ranked big time but dammit, he's fierce. He pisses the All Japan ace off. Jumbo pulls Hamaguchi up a couple times from his own pin in order to punish his foe some more. This backfires as Animal doesn't know the meaning of quit. And he's got moves and takes some crazy bumps...which ma...

April Anarchy: Genichiro Tenryu vs Tatsumi Fujinami - 04/29/96

Genichiro Tenryu vs Tatsumi Fujinami (NJPW) : Two of the very best ever. Two guys that are in my personal top 10 ever. Early on the Dragon is breathing fire and Tenryu is getting burnt. Dragon Rocket topes until Genichiro puts an end to that. Tenryu busts Fujinami in the snout and is gushing blood ! This is what he needs. Tenryu feeds on his opponents pain. Oh this is fucking beautiful - blood is spraying off Fujinami's chest with every chop from Tenryu! The Dragon WON'T QUIT. This is classic stuff. Emotionally speaking, this is an All Time Classic to me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Other ones that I would recommend are: Akira Maeda vs Tatsumi Fujinami from '86, Jim Duggan vs Ted DiBiase or vs Buzz Sawyer from Mid South '85. 👇👇👇Check out the labels for more matches you might be interested in.
