TAJIRI You Might Have Missed #4

Hi wrestling fans! We've got more Tajiri You Might Have Missed! Check out this cool pic!

Okay let's get to the matches!

Tajiri vs Minoru Tanaka (BJW 02/03/98): This is from Big Japan Wrestling. These two are at it again! See this post for their previous fight. Here we get the full match & its 8 minutes of excellence. This is a tournament match so both wrestlers are looking to end this quickly and advance to the finals. Minoru has the advantage as he uses his grappling skills to put Tajiri in a few submission predicaments. Yoshihiro fights with his feet but is looking to send Minoru back to BattlARTS with suplexes. There's a lot of cool stuff here and fans of either guy will have a blast with this bout. Very good!

~spoiler alert~

Tajiri vs Gedo (BJW 02/03/98): Yes! This was smart! Gedo uses the injury Tajiri sustained in the previous match against him. This is well paced, told a great story but had plenty of action & excitement. This was a great match! Gedo is awesome. RECOMMENDED

Tajiri vs Super Crazy (ECW 02/06/99) Concord, NC fan cam footage. God damn! That is how you do it! 10 minutes of distilled, 100 proof Tajiri vs Super Crazy straight to your eye balls! A steady stream of lucharesu action flowing from your TV. I first saw this match 15 years ago on a comp. I have. I happened to have another DVD set which I am watching now...and couldn't remember if this was the same match. So I had no expectations going in today. This holds up!! This is that good so I will echo my review from back then: this might be their best straight up match. No tables or chairs. No furniture arrangements. There's no deep story or even surface level story. It's two rivals going at it to get the win. That's all you need sometimes. Great shit! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Yuji Nagata, Yujiro Takahashi & Naito vs TAJIRI, Giant Bernard & Karl Anderson (NJPW 01/30/10): Korakuen hall 6 man fun! And this was great fun! Big focus on Tajiri vs Nagata (yes!) and Naito/Yujiro Takahashi vs Bernard/Anderson. So we get quality wrestling from both pairings. It's not really a true 6 man in that it does feel pretty obvious that's how this was wrestled. Nagata may not have had any interactions with the Western wrestlers for instance. Anyhow, you'll have a fun time with this one πŸ™‚

TAJIRI vs Maybach Taniguch (NOAH 07/22/12): This was a lot of fun! It's an under 10 minute romp with some hardcore wrestling and nice spots. There's not much to it but definitely gets you your Tajiri fix for the day.
